Bob Quinn

Born in 1948 Bob gave up a successful career as a Commercial Artist to pursue his love of sculpture and drawing. He now works full time as a sculptor from his studio in Blackrock, Dublin.

Although his figurative work can be described as Expressionist in style he owes much to the influences of Epstein, Marini, Giacometti and painters like Millet and Degas.

Bobs work is represented in Dublin by Solomon Fine Art, and in the country and the North by Kilcock Art Gallery, Parvis Gallery Lisburn, Greenlane Gallery Dingle and Paris, and Mill Cove Gallery, Cork.

While for the last five years Bob has concentrated largely on commission work he has also produced a succesfull one man show “Strong Women” in Dublin with Solomon Fine Art.

Bob has shown in the RHA Dublin, the RUA Belfast, has private and public commissions throughout Ireland and abroad. Examples of Irish public art include Westmeath Co Council, OPW Botanic Gardens,  Newman House, UCD, City West, The National Stud Kildare.
