Elizabeth O’Kane

An award winning sculptor and painter, originally from Ballymena, now working in Dublin.

Elizabeth’s sculptures are figurative and focus on anatomy, portraiture, and movement. She works in bronze and stone.

Her watercolour paintings are strongly architectural, almost photorealist. Detailed cityscapes are captured in strong sunlight, bold shadows give the work a sculptural aspect. She is a member of the Water Colour Society of Ireland and of the Ulster Watercolour Society

Originally a translator by profession she has studied at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy and at the Art Students League of New York.
