DAVID WILLIAMS-ELLIS

 

David Williams-Ellis is the recipient of the Elizabeth T. Greenshield Foundation Award and an elected member of the Royal Cambrian Academy.

 

 

 

 

About the Sculptor

 

David William-Ellis studied drawing with Signorina Nerina Simi in Florence and was an apprentice with the Florentine woodcarvers.

 

 

1977-78 - Florence, studied drawing with Signorina Nerina Simi apprentice with Florentine woodcarvers

1978-80 - Awarded the Elizabeth T. Greenshield Foundation Award enabling work and study with the marble craftsmen of Carrara

1981-84 - Sir John Cass School of Art

1993 - Elected member of Royal Cambrian Academy

Today, David lives and works in Wales and Cumbria
